Delete your Detox AI account & data

How to request deletion

Most Detox AI account data is stored only on your device. To delete your in-app account and associated local data:

Open Android Settings â†’ Apps â†’ Detox AI â†’ Storage & cache â†’ Clear storage (or Clear data). This removes the local account, preferences, notes, and on-device protection data.
Optionally uninstall Detox AI to remove the app and remaining local files.
If you signed in with Google: open Google Account â†’ Third-party access and remove access for Detox AI (if listed).
If you subscribed to Premium: open the Google Play Store â†’ Payments & subscriptions and cancel Detox AI Premium. Google keeps purchase records under Googleâ€™s policies; we do not store your card details.

Email request (optional): You may also email support@detoxing.ai with subject â€œDetox AI account deletionâ€ and the Google email you used to sign in. We will confirm within 30 days. Because account data is primarily on-device, clearing app storage (step 1) is the fastest complete deletion.

What is deleted

Local account profile (email/display name stored by the app)
App preferences, protection settings, notes / journal, streaks and on-device analytics
On-device filtering signals and cached blocklist data created by the app
Website waitlist email, if you ask us to remove it by emailing support

What may be retained

Google Play subscription and purchase history (retained by Google per Googleâ€™s policies)
Google Sign-In records in your Google Account (managed by Google; revoke app access as above)
If you enabled an optional accountability backend: server-side device tokens / heartbeats / partner-alert logs may be deleted on request by emailing support; otherwise they are retained only while that backend is configured for your device

Retention period

After you clear app storage or uninstall, local app data is removed immediately. Email deletion requests are handled within 30 days. Play Billing records follow Googleâ€™s retention rules.
